CFI Financial Group has just awarded itself with a Category One license from the SCA of the United Arab Emirates which is its second license. However, it operates under regulation of several jurisdictions, for instance, in the UK, Cyprus, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, Oman, and even Mauritius.

The comments made by Hisham Mansour, Co-founder and MD of CFI, with regards to the acquisition of a SCA license. He stressed that the Category One license which entails large paid up capital is intended to assure all those who come within the reach of CFI of assured security in the market place.

Mansour stated: This means we have launched another entity in September. It is the fifth one after our expansion in Egypt, Kuwait, Palestine, and Oman.

The SCA license, which was acquired in a country that houses CFI’s Dubai headquarters, holds great importance for the Group. The Group places itself at a strategic position to serve its Arabian customers, and it opens up new opportunities for penetration into wider MENA markets.

The CEO of CFI Dubai’s SCA licensed entity is Nidal Abdel Hadi who emphasized upon the requirement of a regional supervisory authority among the financial regulators in UAE. He expressed: “The UAE is our base. As such, we intend to leverage the stability and robust economic growth in the region for the highest quality products, platforms, trading tools, and customer services.

The Presence in European Football through Sheffield United Sponsorship, CFI has expanded its participation in European football through a provisional annual contract with the English club side – Sheffield United. Earlier in April this year, the firm, head-quartered in Dubai, which last year appointed the current Man City coach, Pep Guardiola, as its global brand ambassador, announced this new partnership. The agreement signed between CFI and the club makes the former the Main Shirt Sponsor at Premier League 2023/2024 seasons.

Under the agreement, Sheffield United dubbed “The Blades” will play CFI-branded jersey in the last preseason friendly match against VfB Stuttgart, one of the German Bundesliga teams. Mansour expressed excitement about the partnership, stating: We look forward to leverage the global profile provided by Sheffield United and the Premier League for our business.
