Prop-Connect was founded in 2022 with a revolutionary vision: to connect traders and prop firms in a way that works for everyone.
By helping the very best traders and prop firms find one another, we aim to improve this rapidly growing industry in a way that’s fully transparent. At the heart of what we do are genuine, honest and authentic experiences shared online to provide invaluable feedback and guidance. Because we’re the first free-to-use digital platform where traders can rate and review prop firms, we’re actively driving the industry forward in a way that uses social feedback to push for higher quality and improved service.
We’re laser-focused on improving every aspect of the trading experience by providing a simple, intuitive platform that allows prop firms to be accurately rated and reviewed. By inviting real traders to share their thoughts on the challenges different prop firms offer, max drawdowns, pricing and so much more, we provide a highly accurate feedback mechanism that guides the industry.
Traders can search for the right fit for their needs, prop firms can get to know their clients on a whole new level, and everyone benefits as the industry goes in a positive new direction.
Together, we will make this happen.

INVALID PHONE NUMBER
If you receive the Invalid Phone Number message when you are trying to complete your verification, it could be for the following reasons:
VOIP, Burner/Prepaid, and Landline numbers can not be used to complete verification. You must use a mobile number to verify.
You have not correctly filled out the text entry field. Make sure that you select the correct country code for your number.
Have an alt account, or help a friend complete their verification? Your phone has just been registered and is on timeout. Unfortunately, we can not lift this, and you will need to wait for the end of the timeout to use the number once more, or use a different number to verify the account.

Remember: your reviews help other traders make better decisions. Without them, our community and site wouldn't exist.
Depending on your case there are a few options you should consider before removing your review:
My problem has been resolved or my opinion has changed
If your problem has been solved by the prop firm, consider posting another review detailing your new experience. Posting about your most recent experience helps other reviewers and is a great way to forward your feedback to the company.
A prop firm has asked me to remove the review
Provided your review is an expression of opinion (rather than a statement of fact) and you honestly held the opinion at the time you submitted your review to prop-connect, you are protected by the law and should not feel legally threatened by anyone to remove your review. Make sure to read through our Posting Guidelines.
I still want to edit my review or remove

What is the flagging tool for traders?
We have a reporting system in place where people are able to flag any reviews they believe are suspicious. These reports are investigated on a case-by-case basis.
Reasons for flagging a review
1. Reviews that contain profanity, sexually explicit, or obscene language
2. Promotional reviews
3. Reviews that are off-topic or irrelevant
4. Reviews that have personal information (e.g., addresses, phone numbers, email addresses).
We have a dedicated content team that processes reviews to help ensure that they comply with our Posting Guidelines before reviews are published. Our content team is also able to manually request reviewers to provide proof of purchase if they feel this is required.
In addition to this, we are proactively analyse and filter reviews based on data such as IP addresses, devices used, browsers used and other information. We actively monitor review numbers and look out for any spikes in reviews.
Will I be told the outcome?
In general we don't inform traders of the results of our investigations. But rest assured that we'll take action if we find reason to do so!
How scores are calculated?
Prop-Connect Score calculation
All scores are rated on a scale from 1 to 5 stars, with 5 as the highest rating.
Creating a meaningful ranking strategy based on ratings can be challenging. Is only one rating enough? Or do you need a certain quantity of ratings for the ratings to be reliable? Is a prop firm that receives many mixed ratings, with a range between 1 and 5, better than a prop firm with a smaller number of mostly positive ratings? Obviously, a product that receives only 5 stars is a good choice, but is it better than a popular item with hundreds of 4 stars?
1. The Bayesian average
The Bayesian average adjusts the average rating of products whose rating counts fall below a threshold. Suppose the threshold amount is calculated to be 100. That means average ratings with less than 100 ratings get adjusted, while average ratings with more than 100 ratings change only very slightly. This threshold amount of 100 is called a confidence number, because it gives you confidence that averages with 100 or more ratings are more reliable than averages with less than 100 ratings.
2. Ranking by Probability
Ranking by probability is a type of probabilistic ranking algorithm that ranks prop firm in a dataset according to their probability of being a positive example. The ranking algorithm uses the input data, such as the number of features that are common to both positive and negative examples, to calculate the item’s relevance score. The higher the relevance score, the more likely the prop firm is to be a positive example.
Ranking by probability is different from other types of ranking algorithms because it takes into account the uncertainty of the data. This makes it more accurate than other types of ranking algorithms.
3. Effects of submission time
Submission time has a big impact on the ranking and the algorithm will rank newer stories higher than older.
