Amid a Crackdown on MetaQuotes, Prop Trading Firm FTMO has Stopped Acquiring New US Clients

Clients have been informed by the company of the switch to the new DXtrade platform. When trying to register using a US IP address, new traders discovered that the registration form was incomplete.

The proprietary trading company FTMO has stopped enrolling US clients, which is a noteworthy step. This action seems to be a reaction to MetaQuotes' most recent crackdown on the world of proprietary trading. When new traders tried to sign up using a US IP address, they were unable to finish the registration form. US clients' active accounts, however, have not been cancelled or refunded.

Clients have been notified about the switch to the new DXtrade platform by the company's support staff. This move will impact all users on all platforms, including citizens of the United States and foreign nationals who live here. On February 19, 2024, the accounts will be moved to the new DXtrade platform. Links to become acquainted with the new platform and its creators will be supplied.

Industry insiders and prominent Twitter users revealed over the weekend that FTMO servers aren't appearing on MT4 or MT5. A prop trading-focused account asked whether the move "may be due to the migration of US traders to DXtrade," reflecting the turmoil the emerging industry is going through since MetaQuotes terminated its financed trading clients' acceptance of US customers over regulatory concerns.
