While retaining its services for US clients, the in-house trading platform will move all accounts from MT4 and MT5 to TradeLocker.

The company is now only offering services on TradeLocker, a relatively young player in the trading platform market, and has fully phased out MetaTrader platforms. By today's end, the transfer of all current clients from MT4 and MT5 to the new platform should be finished.

TopTier Trader's CEO, Dave Guttman, declared on the company's Discord channel that MT4 and MT5 will no longer be available. In order to maintain MT4/5 for a little while longer, he clarified, the decision was made to avoid rushing into collaborating with another broker, which would just increase the uncertainty, disruption, and instability for their traders. 

Since TradeLocker was added to the prop trading platform last summer, the switch to the new trading platform wasn't abrupt. "After evaluating DXTrade, CTrader, and others, we concluded that TradeLocker was the best alternative to MT4/5," Guttman stated. The majority of other prop trading platforms are integrating DXtrade and cTrader, among a few other trading platforms.

The team at MochaLabs, which also runs the prop trading platform Funder Pro, is responsible for creating TradeLocker. According to the platform's website, prop firms can begin using it in as little as seven days to six weeks, suggesting that it is aimed at them.

When TopTier Trader placed trading limits on 10 unexpected nations, including Vietnam, Pakistan, Kenya, the UK, India, Turkey, and Germany, earlier this month, the news was widely reported. TopTier Trader has continued to serve its clients in these nations, although other prop firms—big and small—have restricted their services to clients located in the United States. TopTier Trader has strengthened its position in the US market by implementing TradeLocker.
